She presents, on the basis of journals and travel diaries, correspondence and testimonies, a method imagined and developed to make theater an instrument of reconciliation - as far as this is possible - in conflict zones ( in Burundi with victims of torture as with torturers or in Congo with child soldiers in particular) and, more generally, to help vulnerable people (prisoners, asylum seekers, AIDS patients, repatriated or displaced people, victims of violence sexual, etc.).

Keen to communicate her experience and make her method accessible to any person or association wishing to expand the curative potential of theater in contexts of crisis and conflict, Frédérique Lecomte asked Karel Vanhaesebrouck and Marie-Soleil Frère, both lecturers at the Free University of Brussels, as well as his collaborator Ewout D'Hoore, to situate the historical, cultural and political context of this type of theatrical intervention which requires great knowledge of the field.
